Volunteer Now

Meals on Wheels organizations are often recruiting new volunteers.  Each local Meals on Wheels organization has their own criteria for volunteers and this can vary.  Most prefer volunteers who can give on-going and regular assistance, though they may define "regular" as little as once a month or as often as several times per week.  Some Meals on Wheels organizations also need fill-ins for when they are short-staffed. 

Contact your local organization to find out what their current requirements and qualifications are.  If you haven't looked already, please:

2) Select your city from those available, or find the closest city to you

3) Call the number given directly and tell them you'd like to volunteer.  Be sure to leave a message if nobody is available to take your call.

4) Consider multiple positions.  As an example, an organization may have all the delivery drivers they need, but need help in the office or handling the phones.

5) Please be aware that your availability may not meet their current needs.  Your inquiry is still appreciated and please consider donating financially instead.  Even organizations who have the volunteers
